Budget Briefs on Welfare Schemes by Accountability Initiative

With only a few days left for the release of Union Budget 2022, Accountability Initiative has published funding trends of five major welfare schemes, in the form of five Budget Briefs. This is a useful resource to understand fiscal trends and priorities in welfare schemes and how the Union and State governments have responded to the pandemic.

Saksham Anganwadi and POSHAN 2.0 (Pre-Budget)- This Budget Brief ananlyses the fiscal trends in allocation and releases in the restructured Saksham Anganwadi and POSHAN 2.0, along with the nutritional outcomes to determine the required alloacations for Union Budget 2022
