How much allocated to Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change in year 2021-22?

Thanks for joining the Forum.

Based on the anlaysis of Union Budget 2021-22 carried out by CBGA, Rs. 2,863 crore has been allocated for the MoEF&CC as Gross Budgetary Support (GBS) to Central Sector Schemes.

What are the schemes from MoEFCC declared in gender budget statement?

In the Gender Budget Statement (GBS) of 2021-22, the GoI has not included any scheme/programme by the MoEFCC.

Which are the states which are publishing a separate Climate Budget statement in India?

Various states have adopted annual climate or green budgets. Odisha is the first state released " Climate Budget Statement" . Bihar and Delhi have also released Green budgets covering both climate and environment budgets. Few states have adopted SDG budgets which also covers budgeting aspects for climate change and environment.
